Do not post hateful, abusive, threatening, sexually exploitative, discriminatory, deceptive, or otherwise prohibited language or content. Listings that violate the rules may be removed and accounts may be suspended after review. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent suspension. Users should be able to appeal moderation decisions.
Post accurate descriptions, fair prices, and media that you own or have permission to use. Do not post counterfeit, stolen, illegal, dangerous, or misleading goods.
Listings are intended for sellers and buyers within Nigeria. Sellers must select a Nigerian state or the FCT and provide a valid Nigerian contact number.
Sellers are responsible for providing a working number registered on WhatsApp. Clicking “Chat on WhatsApp” opens WhatsApp using the number supplied. MarketNaija cannot guarantee a number is active or registered until verified in a live service.
Each seller may publish up to four new products per calendar day. Attempts to bypass the limit may lead to listing removal.
Buyers should check products and sellers carefully. Do not share passwords or one-time codes. Arrange payment and delivery safely. The marketplace does not hold funds or guarantee transactions in this prototype.
Users can report suspicious listings. A production service should explain how personal data is collected, stored, secured, and deleted, and should provide a contact for privacy requests.
